Water Pump Fundraiser
January 2017 -- During ongoing drought in Southeast AFrica, especially hard hit since September is Godfrey Kasozi's home sub-county of Karusandara, in Kasese. Crops have died due to insufficient rainfall during this normally very wet season.
The community has agreed on a plan to purchase a high-volume, portable water pump that can be moved to several areas in Karusandara to pump water from two nearby rivers into the farms of 2,000 people
Cost: $4,200. Additional pipes can be added to serve an additional 2,000 farmers.

Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary launches an emergency relief fundraiser, for project to purchase a water pump, replacement parts and replacement seeds for Karusandra, Kasese Uganda area, which has been severely affected by 2016 drought conditions.
